We’re Danielle and Ruth, two longtime friends, who have shared a passion for baking for over 20 years. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a source of joy, comfort, and connection—especially during the pandemic, when we found ourselves spending more time in the kitchen, perfecting recipes and experimenting with flavors.

Our first professional baked creation was a true labor of love—Danielle’s daughter and son-in-law’s wedding cakes. That moment was the spark that turned our passion into something bigger. Encouraged by the overwhelming love and support from family and friends, we took the leap and started Nana D’s Sweet Shop, bringing our handcrafted treats to more people beyond our own kitchens.

Now we are a greater Seattle area based bakery and specialize in delicate, flavorful macarons, as well as custom cakes, cookies, and baked confections made with care and creativity.
